The Harbaugh Act

I’m getting sick of looking at these ugly turds, so I pushed them below the line where they belong.

A recent article stated that the Harbaugh act was wearing thin, and someone asked what is “the Harbaugh act”. Here is my answer in a nutshell:

Just like John Gruden, the knock on the Harbaughs is that they tend to alienate their players and that eventually their shtick grows old. John Harbaugh treated his players complaining about having to practice in full pads as a revolt. Held a grudge and then cut the players he felt instigated said revolt. There were marquee players that later went on to win a Super Bowl after forcing the issue, and winning. They did not practice in pads that day. They won that week, and every subsequent game. Players talk all over the league. How do you guys think that plays to the guys who weren’t on that team and might be considering joining them? I think Harbaugh’s house cleaning and subsequent 8-8 season cost him serious credibility with Bisciotti and lead to his boss saying, “if you don’t have better results next season, I’m going to force changes on you.”
Jim is the same, except that he’s an even bigger crybaby.

I wrote a limerick about em:

The Harbaughs sure are silly bitches
With their whines, cusses and annoying twitches
    They met on Thanksgiving Day
    We’re pretty sure they’re gay
Now they each have a rash that itches

Sorry, that’s the best I got off the cuff
