Hahahahahahaha!
Nice post James! I like the carry too. The blocks were pretty good, but he should have been stopped at the 3 or 4 given the amount of contact he absorbed on his way to the end zone. A guy with a nose for the end zone or the ten yard marker is always a nice addition.
One thing Blount doesn’t do is move the ball to the arm nearest the sidelines as he is running. Doing that is usually taught as safer because the ball is harder for a defender to reach and also more apt to go out of bounds when fumbled. Maybe he doesn’t do it now because that maneuver was hard for him and caused fumbles.
Blount’s reputation has never been one that reflects him as a great student of the game. He has always been able to perform well based on his natural abilities and not had to work at it. My suspicion is that had he not dealt well with being in New England, where the coaches demand a lot of their players, that he would not be a Steeler next season. Let’s see what our new RB coach can do with him. He still has a lot of upside if he will work hard at maximizing his ability.
I like the attitude of #17 in the background. He seems to be enjoying his day.
