Didn’t we do this last year, too? Some recognizable 4th string names there, not saying it means anything, but hey….I’ll admit that I’m not any form of recognized expert in evaluating talent, but the biggest challenge I see for Vaughn is the inability to sense when the pressure is coming or where it’s coming from; and then of course whole being able to throw it where it needs to go thing is a separate issue.
It’ll be worth watching to see how the cuts go from other teams–you know the Browns aren’t cutting RGIII, so there’s a good shot one of the remaining 3 will hit the street, and I don’t think Austin Davis (assuming he’s the 4th) is too horrible, albeit the reference I have is extremely limited.
I can’t say anything meaningful about Vaughn. He probably sucks royally, but how would we know? He was under siege and had no time to do anything. Put him behind the starting lineup for a series and verify whether or not he has anything.
God help any QB being protected by Old Mother Hubbard, the whirling dervish.
Assuming all the #2 players are a lock on their teams, which #3 would you like to see cut and become available? I see a half dozen who have to be better than the bums the Steelers have.
Assuming also that 16 draft picks are locks, I have to put Petty at the top of the wish list….still a chance that Ponder and his hot wife hit the street after final cut downs

Yep, we did. Definition of insanity?

The Panthers have the best 2 & 3 QB’s IMO .
